Eye to Eye is our annual fundraising event, where you can choose to walk four or 14 miles on a route that will take you past some of London’s most iconic landmarks. You can walk solo (we can buddy you up with a volunteer if you wish) or as part of a team with your colleagues, friends or family with all ages and abilities welcome. Once you sign up, you can spread the word and start getting sponsored- we ask all adults raise a minimum of £100 but the more you raise, the more we can support those living with sight loss.
Please be assured your health and safety is paramount to us and as we plan the event, we will continue to monitor and follow the latest government guidelines around Covid-19 to ensure it is as safe as possible for you on the day. If you have any particular concerns, please get in touch.
Virtual Eye to Eye
This year, we wanted to give you the opportunity to walk Eye to Eye no matter where you are. Perhaps you don’t feel comfortable travelling yet, you live too far away from Moorfields or you can’t make the date? By walking your own four or 14 miles route on any day between 14-28 March, you can still fundraise and show your love for Moorfields.
I decided to walk Eye to Eye for the first time in 2016 in order to thank Moorfields for the excellent care I had received (by that point I’d had five retinal reattachment operations, three of which were performed at Moorfields), and also because it was something positive I could do in an attempt to help other people affected by sight loss.

Any more questions?
We would love to have you as part of #TeamMoorfields. We will be making Eye to Eye a safe environment and will strictly be following the latest government guidance on the day. If you need any more support or have queries please get in touch, we’d love to chat to you.
All plans are subject to change due to Covid-19 government guidelines. If closer to March it appears that the event cannot happen in person, we will offer all participants the opportunity to walk virtually between 14-28 March 2021 so you can still fundraise for Moorfields.
