Come together and take part in our annual fundraising walk, Eye to Eye 2022 to support Moorfields and to create a future without sight loss. You will be making a difference to the lives of the researchers, staff and patients of Moorfields Eye Hospital and its academic partner, the UCL Institute of Ophthalmology.

Every 15 minutes, someone in the UK starts to lose their sight.
You can choose to walk five or 15 miles on brand new routes that will take you past some of east London’s most historic and interesting sights. You can walk solo (we can buddy you up with a volunteer if you wish) or as part of a team with your colleagues, friends or family with all ages and abilities welcome.
Once you sign up, you can spread the word and start getting sponsored- we ask all adults to fundraise a minimum of £100 but the more you raise, the more we can support those living with sight loss.
Virtual My Eye to Eye
We want to give you the opportunity to walk Eye to Eye no matter where you are. Perhaps you don’t feel comfortable travelling yet or live too far away from Moorfields? You can run, ride or walk your own five or 15 miles route on any time between 19-20 March- you can still fundraise and show your love for Moorfields from your own doorstep.
I decided to walk Eye to Eye for the first time in 2016 in order to thank Moorfields for the excellent care I had received (by that point I’d had five retinal reattachment operations, three of which were performed at Moorfields), and also because it was something positive I could do in an attempt to help other people affected by sight loss.
