Our partners

We raise funds and invest in research, education and patient care related to sight loss. Close collaboration with our partners is a key part of how we make a difference.

Our core partners

We’re proud to support the partnership of Moorfields Eye Hospital NHS Foundation Trust and the UCL Institute of Ophthalmology – world leaders in eye health.

We’re also partnering with the trust and the institute to create Oriel, the proposed global centre for advancing eye health.

Our wider partners

We also collaborate with a wide range of other partners to support each other in our shared vision of making a difference to the lives of people with sight loss.

Friends of Moorfields

Friends of Moorfields help the patients and staff at Moorfields. We support their volunteers programme which runs a range of services across the trust: information desks, patient guiding and wayfinding, patient hand holding, and children’s play, providing emotional and practical support.

Moorfields Private Eye Hospital

Moorfields Private is London-based private division of Moorfields Eye Hospital. Their financial surplus is re-invested back into the trust to support NHS services.

The National Institute for Health Research (NIHR)

The National Institute for Health Research (NIHR) supports researchers throughout their careers and developing future leaders in eye health research.

Our memberships

We are also members of and contribute to a number of membership organisations including:
