Education and training

We’re funding the education and training of the next generation of world-leading eye researchers and clinicians, because we believe that people’s sight matters.
The UK’s ageing population means demand for eye care is on the rise. Already over 2 million people across the country live with sight loss, and that number is set to double over the next 30 years.
We believe that to keep providing the patients of tomorrow with the best possible eye care, we need to invest in the training of tomorrow’s experts, both in research and clinical settings. You can read about some of our most recently funded projects below.
