On Sunday 8 October 2017, London parks were ready to take on 16,000 runners for the tenth #RoyalParksHalf Marathon. The sunshine was out and people lined the streets to cheer on the runners taking part.
Moorfields Eye Charity was lucky enough to have five amazing runners take up the challenge and run to raise important funds for Moorfields Eye Hospital.
The race started in Hyde Park and went through Kensington Gardens, St James's Park, and Green Park. We are extremely proud of our five runners and how they took an extra step forward to create a world beyond sight loss.
