Project and equipment grant applications invited

Moorfields Eye Charity is pleased to announce that we are accepting applications for our 2017 summer project and equipment grants. Applications are welcome until 5 May 2017.

Project grants

Project grants provide funding support for hypothesis driven research projects.  The scheme can support directly incurred research costs including salaries, research expenses and small items of equipment.  To find out more or to apply please visit the project grant section of our website.

Equipment grants

Equipment grants are intended to provide funding support for large piece(s) of equipment which will support current and future research, particularly that of strategic importance to Moorfields Eye Hospital NHS Foundation Trust and the UCL Institute of Ophthalmology. Our expectation is that requests will only be made for centralised, multi-user pieces of equipment which will enhance and advance more than one area of research and where a clear cost recovery and sustainability plan has been considered. To find out more or to apply please visit the equipment grant section of our website.

For more details on how the charity has support research and securing critical items of equipment please visit our research news and spotlight pages.

If you have any questions please contact Cath Thums, grants officer.
