Family of two adults and two children walking through grass and smiling

Free Wills Month occurs in March and October every year, but the good news is that you don’t have to wait for the next campaign. We have partnered with Bequeathed and The Goodwill Partnership so you can have your will written all through the year.

What is a will?

Learn more

A document giving you the means of deciding who will inherit your worldly goods when you die. Your will enables you to choose who you want to benefit, family, friends and causes close to your heart.

Are you over 18, thinking of writing a will and don’t know where to start? We’ve created a video to help take away the uncertainty:

We can help with lots of free information, practical tools and two free will writing schemes:

Write your will online with Bequeathed

Learn more

The Bequeathed online service offers a simple, step by step process to write a will – and their help is completely free. The service includes a half hour consultation with a solicitor or, alternatively you can record a video setting out your circumstances and your wishes, which will be checked by the legal team at Bequeathed.

Write your will face to face with The Goodwill Partnership

Learn more

A free face to face will writing offer through The Goodwill Partnership who are the largest provider of home visit, solicitor written wills throughout England and Wales. You don’t have to travel to a solicitor office, a trained counsellor will visit you at your home, meet you online, or talk to you over the phone, to take your will instructions, at a time that’s convenient to you, during the day, in the evening, or at the weekend.

If you use either scheme, there’s no obligation to include a gift to Moorfields Eye Charity in your will.

You may be put off making a will because it can be an expensive process but yes this is actually free. For me, it’s important to know that the future of my family is secure and there is no confusion about my personal wishes.
