Diana's Moorfields Tea raises £900

It was 14 September, it was a lovely sunny day in Bayfordbury, and the wonderful Diana Waterman-Barnes was hosting her Moorfields Tea.

She served a variety of delicous goodies to family and friends from far and wide, and on top of the traditional selling of tea and cake Diana also decided to take donations for a 'bric a brac' sale. Her enthusiasm to raise money for Moorfields Eye Charity is probably the reason she smashed her initial target of £500, with her tea bringing in a huge £900 in donations!

Diana decided to host her Moorfields Tea after chatting to members of the charity whilst waiting for her appointment at Moorfields Eye Hospital. She said hosting her tea got people thinking about the need to support Moorfields, and gave her fundraising a nice personal touch. Thank you so much Diana for your efforts; we're delighted that your tea was such a success!
