Our Healthcare grants to support Moorfields staff and patients, providing funding for a range of initiatives that will have a positive impact on the experience, care and wellbeing of Moorfields’ patients or staff.

Ensuring a smooth and supportive patient experience is a high priority for Moorfields Eye Charity. We invest in the training and wellbeing of Moorfields staff, as well as funding innovative equipment, supporting new facilities or creating opportunities for patient involvement.

Moorfields clinical equipment grants

We work closely with Moorfields Eye Hospital NHS Foundation trust to support investment in clinical equipment that will enhance the experience of patients and staff.

What we don’t fund

Medical equipment that is essential to patient safety or replacement programmes of existing equipment.
Education or learning and development-related licences or course fees provided by either Moorfields or externally.
Maintenance and upkeep of hospital estates and facilities.
Corporate events, team away days or social activities.
Retirement or individual recognition activities.
Individual training, provided by either Moorfields or externally.
Personal equipment (including IT) for patient or staff use.
Care or treatment costs for patients or staff.
